Commercial Marine Courses

Marine Training Services (RTO No. 4653) delivers the following nationally recognised Maritime Training Package Courses.

Successful completion of our courses can lead to nationally recognised AMSA Certificates of Competency, which allow the holder to be the Master and/or Engineer of commercial vessels up to 12 or 24 metres.

Marine Training Services conducts Short Courses for:

  • Coxswain Grade 3 NC Course
  • Marine Radio (Long Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency)
  • Passenger Operations through Port Phillip Heads

Our students have gone on to operate in all areas of the small domestic marine industry, including commercial fishing, aquaculture industry, on charters vessels, commuter ferries, in marinas, delivering vessels, and on Commonwealth and State Authority vessels.

Marine Training Services also delivers the Victorian Recreational Marine Licence and PWC Endorsement Courses.

Learning Structure
